Cookie Policy

Which cookies this site uses, why, and how to control them — wherever in the world you are reading from.

Last updated: 4 September 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how mcptutorials.com uses cookies and similar technologies such as local storage. It should be read together with our Disclaimer. It applies to every visitor, and sets out the additional rights that apply if you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, Brazil, Canada, California or another jurisdiction with its own privacy law.

1. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file placed on your device when you visit a website. Similar technologies — local storage, session storage and pixels — work in comparable ways. Cookies can be “first-party” (set by this site) or “third-party” (set by another domain), and either “session” cookies that disappear when you close the browser or “persistent” cookies that remain for a set period.

2. Our approach: nothing non-essential by default

This site is deliberately built to run without tracking. It does not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, social media trackers, heat-mapping tools or cross-site profiling. No analytics or marketing cookie is placed on your device unless you have given consent first.

If you decline, no non-essential cookie is set — and because the site loads no tracking scripts by default, declining genuinely means nothing is loaded, rather than merely being hidden from view.

3. Cookies and storage actually used

The following is the complete list at the date above. Strictly necessary items do not require consent under EU and UK law because they are essential to provide a service you have requested.

Strictly necessary — consent preference

A first-party record of the cookie choice you make in the banner, together with the version of the policy you agreed to and a timestamp. Stored on your own device for up to 12 months. Without it we would have to ask you on every page.

Strictly necessary — comments

If you leave a comment and tick the option to remember your details, WordPress sets comment_author, comment_author_email and comment_author_url cookies so you do not have to retype them. These are set only if you choose it, and last up to 12 months.

Strictly necessary — site administration

If you log in as an author or administrator, WordPress sets wordpress_logged_in and wp-settings cookies to keep you signed in and remember editor preferences. These apply to site staff only and are never set for ordinary visitors.

Analytics and marketing

None in use at the date of this policy. Should analytics ever be introduced, it will be loaded only after opt-in consent, this policy will be updated first, and the banner will ask you again.

4. Third-party services

Typefaces are currently requested from Google Fonts. Loading a font from Google’s servers transmits your IP address to Google in the United States, which some European regulators and courts treat as a transfer of personal data requiring a lawful basis. No cookie is set by this request.

Where a page embeds a video from a third-party platform, that platform may set its own cookies once the video is loaded. Embedded videos are placed behind consent, so nothing is requested from the platform until you allow it.

5. Managing your choices

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, and withdrawing is as easy as giving it:

Manage cookie preferences

You can also control cookies in your browser settings, where you can block or delete them entirely. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the site working as intended. Guidance is available in the help pages of Chrome, Safari, Firefox and Edge.

6. Your rights by region

European Economic Area and United Kingdom. Under the GDPR, the UK GDPR and the ePrivacy Directive, non-essential cookies require your prior, freely given, specific and informed consent. You may withdraw it at any time. You also have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority or, in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Switzerland and Brazil. The revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection and Brazil’s Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados give comparable rights of information, access, correction and deletion, and Brazilian users may contact the ANPD.

United States. California residents have the right under the CCPA as amended by the CPRA to know what personal information is collected and to opt out of its sale or sharing, and to be free from discrimination for exercising those rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined, and we do not process sensitive personal information for inferring characteristics. Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas and other states with comparable statutes have equivalent rights of access and deletion.

Canada, Australia, Japan and South Africa. PIPEDA, the Australian Privacy Act, the APPI and POPIA each provide rights of access and correction, and require that consent be meaningful. Requests under any of these laws can be made using the contact details below and will be answered within the period the applicable law requires.

7. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, it is treated as a valid request to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information, and as a refusal of non-essential cookies. Because the site sets no tracking cookies by default, an ordinary Do Not Track header requires no further action, but it is respected on the same basis.

8. Changes to this policy

If the cookies used here change — for example if analytics is introduced — this policy will be updated before the change takes effect, the version number recorded with your consent will be increased, and you will be asked for your choice again. The date at the top shows when this policy last changed.
